BEC Vantage is a course in which communicative skills in a business context are practised. Contents of the course are based on the many situations encountered in an office where English is used, e. g. meeting people, dealing with visitors, telephoning. Reading practice includes understanding reports and letters. Written work focuses on notes, memos, and letters. Texts used for listening include conversations, short reports, telephone calls.
As a rough guide, 6 years of school English ("Realschul" level) is a suitable level for course entry. Should you feel you would like first to revise structures, the course "English Grammar. Level B1" is recommended.
